Some of us in the tire industry have not forgotten the shennanigans of the nineties when oddly countries such as Argentina,Brazil,Chile and Venezuela (preChavez), all of a sudden had placed BANS on the IMPORT of USED TIRES coincidence that the Three Sisters have factories in each of these countries we think not. Funny thing is the Ban in Brazil was reversed by the World Trade Organization maybe we should proceed with a Sec.301 for Argentina and Chile???? We in fact believe it appears from the facts there is a concerted effort to Ban used Tires being perpetrated by the tire manufacturers by any and all means .

A casing is a USED TIRE...That is right a casing which is the raw material the basic carcass that is A USED TIRE. Please Federal Trade Commission Please Dept of Justice Antitrust divisions investigate this concerted effort via The Rubber Manufacturers Association by its members the Three sisters who do not wish to compete fairly!!!!!!!!
Goodyear already has plead guilty of violating the Foreign Corrupt practices act when they illegally sold tires to IRAQ during a time period when it was prohibited!!It is time the federal Government investigate the concerted efforts being made by Tire manufacturers who at best speak out of both sides of their mouths..Modern tire dealer reports these three companies control Bridgestone 44% Goodyear 27.5% and Michelin 21% of the domestic retread ruck tire market>>>>>>>

MAYBE THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD INVESTIGATE THROUGH THE FTC THE MILEAGE WARRANTY CLAIMS REPRESENTED BY MANUFACTURERS AND THEIR AUTHORIZED DEALERS??????
What is with free trade with NAFTA used tires are not freely traded into Mexico??
WHY because of the above.....Why are USED Tires not allowed in Columbia???? Why does free trade not apply to used tires because the above companies appear to do whatever it takes in foreign countries most of which is probably not Kosher to BAN the import of Used Tires...
